In the Tver region, work is continuing to restore the regular scheme of electricity supply to consumers

25 December 2017

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division are promptly eliminating the consequences of the bad weather that came to the Tver region yesterday, 24 December. By the evening the power engineers restored the electricity supply to the majority of consumers in the main and distribution grids.

However, a strong snowstorm, which lasted all night from 24 December 25 to December, provoked repeated technological disruptions in the distribution network of 6-10kV and on separate lines through the 35kV grid in Toropetsy, Zapadnodvinsky, Andreapolsky, and Ostashkovsky districts of the region.

IDGC of Centre’s power engineers immediately started liquidation of the bad weather consequences. During the night, they located major faults associated with the fall of trees and breaks of icy wires on power lines. At present, employees of Distribution Zones, as well as seconded to the Tver region crews of power engineers from the Yaroslavl, Smolensk, Kursk, Voronezh and other branches of IDGC of Centre are engaged in eliminating violations in the operation of the power grid complex, as well as restoring the power supply of the remaining disconnected consumers in the low-voltage network of 0.4 kV.

Tverenergo continues working in a special mode of operation, which involves a 24-hour emergency response.

The Contact Centre of IDGC of Centre receives round-the-clock calls from citizens via the toll-free direct numbers at 8 800-50-50-115 or short number 13-50 (for fixed telephones), or by phone +7 915-38-000-38 in Telegram and Viber.
