IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division completed work on grid connection of a sports and health facility in the village of Novodugino in the Smolensk region. Power engineers constructed three sections of an overhead line, laid a cable line, and also installed a 10/0.4 kV two-transformer double-ended substation.
"In our sports facility there will be a multifunctional sports hall and gymnasium, which daily can accommodate more than one hundred and fifty people, including pupils of the sports school. Later, the appearance of an open hockey box is planned," commented the head of the municipal government institution Novoduginsky sports and health facility Sergey Arlichenkov. Thus, residents of Novoduginsky district will be able to engage in football, volleyball, basketball, and visit the gym.
Annually in the Smolensk region, new sports facilities are built. The main task of Smolenskenergo is to provide reliable and uninterrupted power supply of sports facilities in a timely manner by allocating capacity and constructing the necessary electric grid infrastructure.
