IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region: increased readiness for liquidation of the aftermath of the disaster remains

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region are on intensive duty due to sharp deterioration of weather conditions. High-availability mode has been introduced in the Belgorod, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Tambov branches of the companies, the company’s specialists have been transferred to a special mode of operation in the Voronezh and Ryazan regions.

To ensure the readiness of forces and means in the event of emergencies, the branches of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region have tightened control over the functioning of equipment and the efficiency of energy facilities. Operating and repair personnel have been mobilized. Crews are equipped with necessary tools, adaptations, overalls, provided with off-road specialized vehicles, prepared for round-the-clock operation in any conditions.

1,880 crews (9,591 people, 3,511 vehicles) are ready for prompt response in the branches of the power company, including 137 mobile units. Also at the disposal of the branches there are reserve sources of electricity supply, which can be used to supply electricity to socially important facilities of the regions. In case of need, repair crews from branches of IDGC of Centre will be involved in restoration work.
