IDGC of Centre increases the fleet of specialized vehicles

15 November 2017

IDGC of Centre continues to upgrade the fleet of specialized vehicles. Modernization of the vehicle fleet is carried out within the framework of the targeted program for upgrading specialized vehicles.

Since the beginning of 2017, the company has received 248 pieces of various automotive and specialized vehicles: crew workshops, multifunctional vehicles, aerials, cranes, special trailers for carrying power transmission lines, modern forest vehicles for clearing and maintaining ROWs of power lines, other technical means necessary for everyday work of power engineers.

The crew workshops on the all-wheel drive chassis of GAZ are designed for field work of crews of various services. They are equipped with universal tools and equipment that allow to perform repair work in the field, an autonomous power source, an independent air conditioner, a compartment for the crew during the trip and for rest during work in the field. The design of the workshop allows to work at a temperature from -40 to +40. The car meets all modern safety requirements both during the trip and the work.

The multifunctional vehicles on the KAMAZ and Ural all-terrain chassis combine the functions of an aerial, a digger-crane and a crane-manipulator, which allows to optimize the cost of work.

Currently, the fleet of IDGC of Centre totals more than 8.5 thousand specialized vehicles, by the end of the year it will be replenished with 160 more vehicles. The availability of modern and reliable vehicles with the company is an important condition for the fulfillment of planned and operational tasks, which ultimately contributes to the provision of high-quality and uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
