31 October 2017

In Voronezh, the fourth KVN festival of IDGC of Centre finished. 11 teams of the company’s branches and the team of a branch of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region - "Kirovenergo" competed for the title of the most cheerful and sharp-witted.

Participants competed in three contest nominations: a greeting (the theme is "Innovations among us"), a contest "Terms of Reference" and a musical homework assignment ("Revolution, Electrification, Innovation ..."). Their performances were evaluated by a jury under the leadership of First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin, which also included Deputy General Director for HR Management and Organizational Design Inna Gromova, representatives of the leadership of the company’s primary trade union organization, and the Department of Education and Science and Youth Policy of the Voronezh region.

Taking into account the subject of competitions, most of the jokes of the KVN participants were connected with their main profession, and the main characters of the performances were electricians, leaders and girls-power engineers. During the festival, the teams demonstrated not only artistry and positive mood, but also vocal and dance talents. The audience reacted to jokes with amicable laughter and applause.

As a result, the winner of the contest and the owner of the KVN Cup was the team "Seemingly decent people ..." of the branch "Belgorodenergo". The Belgorod power engineers went to the leaders immediately after the greeting contest and throughout the game did not lose the first place to anyone. Together with the cup they received a special prize from the primary trade union organization of IDGC of Centre - tickets for the final game of the KVN of the Higher League, which will be held in Moscow on 16 December. The second place was taken by the team of Tverenergo. The third went to representatives of Orelenergo.

"IDGC of Centre has held the KVN competition for the fourth consecutive year. This is a game for active, energetic, intelligent people - these are the qualities that real power engineers should possess," stressed First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin, presenting the awards to the winners.

"The festival gave the audience a lot of interesting performances and flamboyant jokes. In addition to a good sense of humour, all its participants demonstrated team spirit, dedication to the profession, respect for rivals. In Voronezh, we saw that interest in the festival continues to grow. This shows that it has become an integral part of the cultural life of the company," stressed Deputy General Director for HR Management and Organizational Design of IDGC of Centre Inna Gromova.
