Kurskenergo received thanks for the help in organizing the All-Russian Championship to solve engineering cases SWSU Case Championship 2017

Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky received a letter of gratitude from the rector of South-Western State University (SWSU) Sergey Emelyanov. The head of the university expresses gratitude to the staff of the enterprise for the joint long-term work on the formation of professional competences of the youth and active participation in the preparation and holding of the All-Russian Championship to resolve engineering cases SWSU Case Championship 2017 (SCC 2017).

Please, be reminded that the final of the case-championship initiated by the Government of the Russian Federation with the purpose of supporting promising young people and popularizing engineering, working professions took place in March at the site of SWSU. 26 teams from 12 universities of different regions of Russia presented their solutions on the production tasks proposed by Kursk enterprises. Kurskenergo acted as a partner of the championship. The engineers of the enterprise developed the task for the section "Power supply and electric power industry": the participants had to propose a circuit for power supply of a micro-district, select equipment, calculate operating modes taking into account the customer categories in accordance with the technical policy of IDGC of Centre. The team of SWSU "ReadyCase-One" coped with this task successfully.

As the rector of SWSU notes in his letter of thanks, having developed the case and having acted as part of the expert jury of the event of the All-Russian scale, Kurskenergo made a significant contribution to the formation of the professional competencies of students. Sergey Emelyanov expressed his hope for further close cooperation between the university and the largest electric grid company in the region for achieving the common goals of economic development of the region and Russia.
