1 July 2017

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division restored normal power supply to consumers, which was disturbed by the cyclone passing through the territory of the region in its service area.

As of 2:00 pm on 1 July, all 110, 35 and 10 kV power lines operate in normal mode.

Please, be reminded that on the night of 30 June to 1 July, a cyclone passing from Moscow to the south touched a number of districts of the Lipetsk region - due to heavy rain and gusts of wind up to 18 m/s, power outages were recorded in Krasninsky and Yeletsky districts. Lipetskenergo introduced a high-alert operation mode, repair crews promptly began to locate and eliminate faults on power transmission lines.

"In the first place, socially important facilities were connected - kindergartens, schools, medical institutions. Now electricity is supplied to consumers according to the regular circuit. In some districts there are still some damaged sections of 6-10 lines, including those located in the service area of consumers. Our specialists in the regular operating mode interact with consumers to restore power supply in such areas," stressed Chief Engineer IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division Vladimir Tikhonov.

The power engineers control the situation and are ready to react quickly to possible violations in the operation of the power grid complex, all necessary measures are taken to ensure reliable equipment operation and uninterrupted power transmission to consumers.
