IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division became a laureate of the XVII Interregional Kursk Korenskaya Fair, held from June 16 to 18 in the town of Svoboda. The diploma of the laureate in solemn atmosphere was presented to Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky by Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Mikhailov.
The Kursk Korenskaya Fair is a well-known platform for establishing and developing economic ties and promoting products of enterprises and companies of Central Russia, CIS countries and foreign countries. The number of those who want to participate in it this year exceeded 10,000 people. Kurskenergo took part in the fair for the twelfth time. The exposition of the enterprise was located in the pavilion "Regions of the Central Federal District". Specialists of the branch told participants and guests about the main activities of Kurskenergo, value-added services, new technologies implemented at power facilities, and the procedure for connection of facilities to grids.
The power engineers also presented at the fair the current mock-up of the automated system of electricity metering, which allows to save time needed for reading and transfer of meter readings and submission of reports on poor electricity supply, and also significantly to reduce the amount of electricity required for payment as "common building needs" when used in multi-storeyed houses. For children in the framework of the "Territory of Safety" campaign aimed at ensuring the safety of children in camps for recreation and in the country in the summer, Kurskenergo’s specialists organized drawing contests on the asphalt "Energy through the Eyes of Children" and "Safe Electricity".
For the period of the fair Kurskenergo provided reliable power supply to the town of Svoboda. For this purpose, the power engineers took additional measures: emergency repair crew being on 24-hour duty were organized, diesel generators were installed, special vehicles were constantly available.
The award received by the Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre is a testament to the importance of the contribution of the power engineers’ team to the social and economic development of the region, increasing its investment attractiveness, creating conditions for economic and social development.
