IDGC of Centre, IDGC of Centre and Volga Region and Siemens signed a cooperation agreement

Within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, IDGC of Centre, IDGC of Centre and Volga Region and Siemens Company signed an agreement on cooperation. The document was signed by General Director of IDGC of Centre and Acting General Director of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Oleg Isaev, and President of Siemens in Russia Dietrich Möller, in the presence of Director General of PJSC "Rosseti" Oleg Budargin.

The companies intend to develop cooperation in the modernization of the power grid complex, which is part of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region. The possibility will be considered to jointly conduct research and development work for electric grids of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region.

"Cooperation with the largest grid company of "Rosseti" is extremely important and interesting for us, especially with regard to the modernization of electric grids. In addition to the fact that we have a network of local production facilities for manufacture of electrical equipment, Siemens has a successful experience in implementing similar projects, including such projects in various regions of the country on the territory of the Russian Federation. We are confident that implementation of innovative technologies and reconstruction of the infrastructure of electric grids will help our partners improve reliability, efficiency of energy supply and reduce costs," stressed Siemens President in Russia Dietrich Möller.

"The domestic power grid complex today needs high-quality modernization using the latest world technologies. Cooperation with Siemens, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of electrical equipment based on advanced innovative solutions, creates prerequisites for the successful solution of this problem, which ultimately will provide quality and reliable power supply to consumers, lower operating costs, improve the overall efficiency of the power grid in Central Russia," stressed General Director of IDGC of Centre and Acting General Director of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Oleg Isaev.
