In the Yaroslavl region, within the framework of the Days of Rosseti, management and representatives of the company held meetings with the head of the region, consumers and partners, at which they summed up the work done and shared plans for the further development of the power grid complex, aimed at providing reliable and high-quality power supply, increasing the availability of services and timely provision of available capacity to applicants.
Director General of the company Rosseti Oleg Budargin told Acting Governor Dmitry Mironov that over the past 5 years the Rosseti group of companies invested about 8 billion rubles in the development of the grid complex in the Yaroslavl region, and in the next 5 years plans to invest an additional 12 billion rubles in upgrading the power grids.
The head of Rosseti also stressed that thanks to the implemented set of measures, the power engineers managed to significantly improve the reliability of power supply for consumers in the Yaroslavl region: from 2012 to 2016 the specific failure rate in distribution grids was reduced by 67%, and the average restoration time in the case of technological disturbances was reduced during the same period by 47% to 2.2 hours.
- For Rosseti the key priority is consumer confidence, which the company seeks to justify, providing uninterrupted and high-quality power supply, Oleg Budargin added.
Dmitry Mironov noted the results of fruitful cooperation with energy specialists and expressed the region’s interest in strengthening cooperation with the Rosseti group to ensure sustainable development of the region and the development of its social and economic potential.

Our Yaroslavl colleagues tried to make your visit useful and fruitful and stimulated further strengthening and development of business cooperation between the Yaroslavl region and PJSC Rosseti, Dmitry Mironov said. - I hope that today you personally saw how interested your partners in the Yaroslavl region are in this cooperation.
At the meeting with the largest consumers of the Yaroslavl region, the representatives of Rosseti told the audience that over the past five years they had fulfilled their obligations under almost 25 thousand contracts for connection to electricity grids, the total installed capacity of which amounted to almost 500 megawatts.
About 4 billion rubles were invested in the new capacity for the Yaroslavl region. At the same time, almost 90% of the customer contract demand is not used by consumers, which negatively affects the financial performance of the subsidiary of Rosseti - IDGC of Centre operating in the region.
The representatives of Rosseti told the audience that they additionally conducted an analysis of available capacities in the Yaroslavl region, identified more than 320 megawatts in reserve and suggested that current and prospective consumers consider the possibility of using them.
The parties agreed to hold additional consultations on this issue.
During the meeting with manufacturers of electrical equipment operating in the region, Rosseti noted that they are extremely interested in developing high-tech electrical equipment in Russia and discussed prospects for expanding cooperation, which will result in its purchase and operation at power facilities of the company’s subsidiaries to improve efficiency of the power grid complex and reduction of power losses.
