A letter of gratitude from the head of the city of Tambov, Sergey Chebotarev, was sent to General Director of IDGC of Centre, Oleg Isaev. The head of the regional centre expresses deep and sincere gratitude to the head of the company for the timely and professional assistance rendered by the management and specialists of IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division in liquidation of the consequences of a major technological violation that occurred on the evening of 28 March 2017 at the city substation 35/6 KV №1, to the team of JSC TKS "Electric Grids" (hereinafter Tambov communal systems).
Please, be reminded that difficult weather conditions caused a serious failure at the power facility, which resulted in a significant portion of Tambov without electricity. The leadership of the regional centre for energy security appealed to IDGC of the Centre with a request for emergency assistance in accordance with the previously concluded agreement on interaction in emergency situations with Tambov communal systems.
The management of the energy company responded promptly, mobilizing mobile crews of its Tambov branch. In a few minutes, its representatives arrived at the site of the failure and provided advice to colleagues from Tambov utility networks regarding the order of execution of work for the prompt removal of damage. After this, the crews of IDGC of Centre, in agreement with Tambov communal systems, joined the emergency recovery work. As a result of clear and coordinated actions of power engineers, already by 9 a.m. all repair work at the transformer substation affected by the weather was completed.
As the head of Tambov notes in his message, the rapid restoration of power supply to Tambov’s consumers became possible largely due to the high professionalism of the employees of IDGC of Centre, their dedicated work and clear coordination of activities. "Specialists of the Tambov branch of IDGC of Centre immediately joined the emergency recovery work. Shoulder to shoulder with colleagues from JSC TKS "Electric Grids" they worked all night, despite the bad weather, which allowed early in the morning on 29 March to return the light to the homes of Tambov residents. IDGC of Centre’s employees once again proved that their work deserves high praise and deep respect," Sergey Chebotarev underlines.
