IDGC of Centre in short terms provided electricity to a new perinatal centre in Bryansk

9 March 2017

A perinatal centre of Bryansk City Hospital No. 1, which was under the supervision of Governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz, began its work on 7 March. Patients with the most difficult pregnancies in need of high-tech care will be sent to this institution, designed for 130 beds, where it is possible to care for children with extremely low body weight - from 500 grams. In the centre there will be consultative-diagnostic, admissions, maternity, postpartum departments, an operation unit, intensive care units for women and newborns, a department for pregnancy pathology and newborn pathology, and several other units.

The perinatal centre was built in 1.5 years. Connection of the new medical facility to the power grid was provided by the Bryansk branch of IDGC of Centre. At the same time, the power company, at the request of the Government of the Bryansk region, was able to conduct all relevant technical measures in a shortened time period. For this purpose, they reconstructed the 110 kV "Gorodishchenskaya" substation.

On the festive day on 8 March, the new medical institution was inaugurated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Qualitatively and promptly having performed all the necessary work on the delivery of power to the Bryansk perinatal centre, IDGC of Centre once again confirmed the status of a socially responsible company that makes a significant contribution to ensuring the social and economic development of regions of its service area.
