IDGC of Centre on the eve of the International Women’s Day strengthens control over the reliability of functioning of electric grid facilities of the Central Federal District

IDGC of Centre’s specialists are preparing to operate through the holiday on 8 March. The power engineers have taken a set of measures aimed at providing reliable power supply to consumers of regions of the service area of the company (11 subjects of the Central Federal District).

To prevent possible technological violations, the technical condition of equipment and emergency automation, provision with emergency reserve of materials, availability for operation of back-up power supply sources has been checked. All grid equipment has been brought to the most reliable electrical circuit: all types of work at operating equipment of power grid facilities have been suspended, except for first responding and restoration operations, for which vehicles, tools, materials and means of protection have been prepared. Special control is established over the operation of equipment of electrical substations and grids that provide electricity to socially significant facilities and life support facilities. Additional measures have been taken to strengthen fire safety, protection of facilities and antiterrorist security.

Interaction of IDGC of Centre’s Crisis Management Centre has been worked out with territorial units of Rostekhnadzor, divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, executive authorities, operating companies of PJSC "Rosseti", other territorial electric grid organizations.

For prompt response and liquidation of emergency situations on the public holiday, the company will organize round-the-clock duty of responsible persons. Dispatching and technical services, staff of operating and repair crews, personnel on duty at substations of branches and managers will work in the enhanced mode.

Round-the-clock duty on the holiday will be provided by 540 first responding mobile crews, 90 repair crews of increased mobility of 530 people and 166 vehicles are ready for first responding and restoration operations. In case of need, 1,647 crews, 8,378 people, 3,200 automobile and special vehicles, as well as resources of contract organizations can be involved to eliminate technological violations in the territory of the Company.
