IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division implemented connection to its grid of a new hypermarket "Leroy Merlin" in the city of Kostroma. Maximum connected capacity of power devices amounted to 1.424 MW with the second reliability category of electrical networks of 10 kV.
Leroy Merlin is an international company, a retailer specializing in selling goods for construction and repair. It includes more than 300 shops of various professional categories around the world, including a network of hypermarkets with the same name. In order to carry out the connection of such a large facility, experts of the Kostroma branch of IDGC of Centre performed reconstruction of the switchgear SW-10 at the 110/10 kV substation "Davydovskaya" and construction of new 10 kV electric networks. The shopping centre start-up is planned for November-December 2016.
In carrying out timely and in full its obligations under the grid connection of large industrial, commercial, residential and social facilities, small and medium-sized businesses, IDGC of Centre contributes to the expansion of the tax base, creation of new jobs, implementation of the housing policy of region of its service area, thereby making its contribution to their socio-economic development.
