IDGC of Centre’s team headed by the company’s Deputy Chief Engineer for Operations Anton Gerasimov continues its performance at the Inter-regional competitions of professional skill of staff of PJSC "Rosseti", held in the Leningrad region.
Yesterday, the competitors started to pass the stages. Specialists of the crew for repair and maintenance of cable lines were engaged in installation of a cable coupling sleeve, repairing a 10 kV vacuum switch, freed an injured with electric shock and provided him with first aid, had their knowledge of existing rules, regulations and standards tested. Electricians for maintenance of relay protection and automation devices competed at a stage of the Open Corporate Championship under the International Worldskills procedure.
Today the representatives of IDGC of Centre are passing the final stage of the competition on the repair and installation of cable lines, during which they will have to demonstrate their expertise and skills to repair a 10 kV cable.
On Tuesday morning, as part of the competition at the training centre of "Lenenergo", the exhibition and forum "Modern trends in the distribution grid complex". It will display Russian and foreign electrical equipment manufacturers, as well as special-purpose vehicles, machines and mechanisms. There will be workshops and round tables on the themes of development and increase of efficiency of functioning of electric grid facilities.
The Inter-regional professional skills competitions of personnel for repair and maintenance of substation equipment and cable grids are carried out under the auspices of the action "Engineer Year 2016 - 2017" PJSC "Rosseti". 15 teams are taking part in them representing the companies within the Group PJSC "Rosseti", as well as the team of PJSC "Rosneft", OJSC "Oboronenergo" and State electricity production association of Belarus "Belenergo". Specialists of "Krymenergo" and "Sevastopolenergo" were invited as observers. IDGC of Centre in the competitions is represented by a team consisting of employees of Belgorodenergo and Smolenskenergo, a participant under the Worldskills procedure.
