IDGC of Centre’s management met with chairmen of the trade union organizations of the branches and the executive office of the company, members of the trade union committee of the primary trade union organization on the issues of occupational health

At the beginning of April 2016 representatives of IDGC of Centre’s management and the trade union leaders discussed issues related to the protection and safety of employees. The meeting was attended by First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin, Deputy General Director for Human Resources Management and Organizational Design of IDGC of Centre Inna Gromova, Chairman of the primary trade union organization of IDGC of Centre Victor Ablezgov, Head of HR Management Department of IDGC of Centre Natalia Bulan, Chief of Industrial Safety Service of Industrial Safety and Production Control Department of IDGC of Centre Elena Kalinina, as well as other managers and specialists.

Opening the meeting, Inna Gromova and Victor Ablezgov expressed a common opinion on the necessity of holding thematic meetings on a regular basis, as events take place in an open dialogue format that allows participants to effectively discuss a wide range of issues. Then Alexander Pilyugin introduced the participants with the results of the operation of IDGC of Centre through the autumn-winter period of 2015-2016, and made a number of proposals, the emphasis of which was on ensuring strict compliance with the safety regulations of the company’s employees. Alexander Pilyugin stressed the need to develop more effective methods of forming safe work skills with the staff.

During the meeting Victor Ablezgov drew attention to the fact that for the union the issues of safety and safe working conditions of employees had always been a priority, and demonstrated success in this area of trade union organizations of the Belgorod and Voronezh branches of IDGC of Centre, in particular, on the organization of the contest "Best responsible for occupational health and safety". Then he announced a number of constructive proposals of the trade union organization to the leadership of the company, including the wish to strengthen the coordinated activity of divisions on labour protection, personnel management and trade union organizations of IDGC of Centre on safety.

Elena Kalinina acquainted the participants with a presentation on the changes made by PJSC "Rosseti" in the work on health and safety in 2015 – 2016 and also reported on the results of a production meeting of chief engineers of subsidiaries and affiliates of PJSC "Rosseti" – on approval of the guidelines "Training crews to the work production in IDGC of Centre", and also made suggestions for improving the labour protection and safety system in the company.

Natalia Bulan made a presentation "Proposals of IDGC of Centre’s management to the trade union of the Company on joint actions aimed at improving the status of health and safety". Natalia Bulan also identified a number of activities that are most relevant in terms of development and improvement: the preservation of life and health of employees, compliance with occupational health and safety, promoting compliance with occupational health and safety, information for employees on occupational health and safety.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the meeting’s participants decided to jointly work out all the proposals made in the framework of this event, as well as to develop a joint action program for health and safety in 2016 with prioritization for 2017 and subsequent years.
