In Sochi, at the site of the Main Media Centre, the All-Russian Week of labour safety – 2016 (VSSOT) started its work - a global international platform for the discussion of all relevant issues in the field of occupational health and safety. Its organizers are the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, the Interregional Association for the promotion of safe working conditions "Aetalon". Among the participants of VSSOT -2016 - all aspects of the employment relationship: from representatives of the legislative authorities, the RF subjects, the business community - to trade unions, employers, professional associations, etc. IDGC of Centre there is represented by the head of the department of occupational health and environmental safety Alexander Roshupkin and the head of the department of industrial and occupational safety Magomed Arkhilaev.
The program of the All-Russian Week of labour safety includes more than 100 sectoral and intersectoral activities: scientific and practical conferences, panel discussions and round tables, agency and corporate meetings and workshops, etc. The largest of these will be the All-Russia Congress of labour safety specialists. On sites of VSSOT-2016 a wide range of issues of practical interest for specialists in the field of occupational safety and health will be discussed: the creation and operation of the OSH management system, industrial, fire and environmental safety in organizations; guarantees and compensation, social security and pension provision of employees; taxation of costs of health and safety; directions to reduce occupational accidents and improve working conditions; sectoral issues of safety.
