IDGC of Centre summed up the company’s activity in 2015 and discussed the implementation of the priorities for the near future

As noted in the reports of the speakers, IDGC of Centre completed 2015 with the following results (data are presented according to IFRS): consolidated revenue for the period amounted to 80.8 billion rubles, including from electricity transmission — 77.7 billion rubles, from electricity grid connections — 1.2 billion rubles, and other revenues — 1.9 billion rubles. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to 15.2 billion rubles. Profit for the period increased by 4.2 billion rubles and amounted to 0.9 billion rubles. The market share for electricity transmission at the required gross revenue in the regions of its service area was 86% in 2015, the grid connection market share reached 88.5%.

Following the results of the past autumn and winter operation period there were no accidents and major technological violations in the branches of IDGC of Centre. The repair and maintenance program aimed primarily at improving the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers, according to the results of 2015, was made in full. Over the past year specialists of IDGC of Centre overhauled 18.6 thousand km of power lines, which accounted for 106% of the planned values. Also within the scope of the repair program they overhauled 189 feeding centres of 35-110 kV and 4,760 transformer substations of 6-10 kV, which amounted to 100% and 116%, respectively. A lot of attention last year was paid to the work on bringing ROWs to the regulatory status: in just one year 14.7 thousand hectares of ROWs of overhead lines were cleared, which accounted for 102% of the planned values. A total of 1,967 million rubles were spent on the repair program implementation.

The actual loss of energy in electric grids of IDGC of Centre at the end of 2015 decreased to 9.35% of the supply of electric energy to the grid. During the meeting they discussed issues related to the implementation of the investment program of the company. The total volume of capital investments of the investment program in 2015 amounted to 12.973 billion rubles, or 102% of the plan. The amount of commissioned in the past year facilities was as follows: power lines – 4,785 km, transformer substations – 1,228 MVA.

As part of the issues relating to connection to grids, they stressed the importance of execution of grid connection contracts within statutory deadlines. Last year, IDGC of Centre performed 63,302 grid connection contracts, which is 25.8% higher than in 2014. The total connected capacity of the performed contracts amounted to over 1,137 MW – 1.8% more than a year earlier. In carrying out their obligations in a timely manner and in full to connect to the grids of large industrial, residential and social facilities, facilities of small and medium-sized businesses, IDGC of Centre contributes to the creation in the regions of the Central Federal District of new jobs, the implementation of effective housing policies, and as a result brings significant contribution to the socio-economic stability.

The main part of the meeting was devoted to discussion of the implementation of the priorities for the company for 2016. Among them there is the preparation for the autumn-winter peak load period of 2016-2017, the implementation of investment and maintenance programs, further optimization of procedures of connection of consumers to power grids, synchronization of the investment program with the regional plans for social and economic development.
