IDGC of Centre increases the volume of grid connection and promotes socio-economic development of the Central Federal District

IDGC of Centre summed up the work on the connection of consumers to electric grids in 2015. During the reporting period the company received 57,669 relevant applications (here and below figures without regard to temporary grid connection contracts). 63,302 grid connection contracts were executed, which is 25.8% higher than in 2014. The total connected capacity under the performed contracts amounted to over 1,137 MW – 1.8% higher than a year earlier. Total revenue from the grid connection in 2015 was 1.16 billion rubles without VAT.

Last year IDGC of Centre connected to the grid a number of companies that are essential for socio-economic development of regions of its operations (11 subjects of the Central Federal District).

In the Kostroma region the company provided power to two substations of a plant for production of drilling rigs "NEW Kostroma" LLC. The project is implemented in Russia by National Oilwell Varco (USA) – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality products and services to the oil and gas industry, it will contribute to the realization of the state policy of import substitution in the domestic energy sector. In addition, it is planned to export the company’s products to European countries.

In the Bryansk region IDGC of Centre’s specialists carried out the first stage of connection to the grid of Klintsovsky pottery factory with capacity of 60 million bricks and 80 million pieces of ceramic building blocks per year. In the Smolensk region the company connected to the grid of a large regional distribution centre of CJSC "Tander" (retail chain "Magnit"), in the Tver region - a foundry of one of the largest companies in the region OJSC "Rhythm TPTA".

IDGC of Centre also made a significant contribution to the implementation of federal target programs, involving the construction of social infrastructure. The Company performed work on grid connection of a new perinatal centre in Belgorod, erected as part of the federal program of development of perinatal centres in Russia. The medical facility is to be commissioned in 2016. In Yaroslavl IDGC of Centre connected to the grid a construction site of the Olympic Reserve Hockey School – one of the key projects of the federal target program "Development of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation" for the next five years. Among other social facilities, which IDGC of Centre provided with power, one should note the largest sports camp "Tambov Artek" in the Tambov region and a fitness and recreation centre in the settlement of Kshensky in the Kursk region.

Large scope of work was carried out in the area of grid connection of facilities of agribusiness industry and housing construction. In the Belgorod region the agricultural facility of LLC "Greenhouse complex Belogoriya" was connected to the grid — the largest supplier of vegetables and herbs in the Central Federal District - with its capacity of 11 thousand tons of vegetables a year. In the Lipetsk region - a hatchery "Don" of PSC Group "Cherkizovo" in the territory of the special economic zone "Yeletsprom". In the near future it is planned to create here one of Europe’s largest poultry clusters. Also among the large facilities of agricultural industry, which were supplied with electricity by IDGC of Centre in the past year - OJSC "Orelrastmaslo" and a member of the holding company "Agro-Alliance" "Central Cereal Company" in the Orel region.

In 2015 one of the most significant projects of IDGC of Centre in the Lipetsk region was grid connection of the residential neighbourhood "Yeletsky", the largest in Lipetsk. Ten high-rise buildings were connected to the grid. In Bolshesoldatsky district of the Kursk region IDGC of Centre’s specialists connected to the grid the first stage of a new residential district, in the Kostroma region - a quarter of low-rise residential buildings in the city Volgorechensk.

In carrying out its obligations in a timely manner and in full on grid connection of large industrial, residential and social facilities, sites of small and medium-sized businesses, IDGC of Centre contributes to the creation in the regions of the Central Federal District of new jobs, the implementation of effective housing policies, and as a result makes an important contribution to ensure their social and economic stability.
