Winners of the contest of amateur arts of IDGC of Centre were decided

The final stage of the competition of amateur arts of IDGC of Centre was held in the city of Orel, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the electrification plan (GOELRO plan). It was attended by about 200 employees, winners of the regional stages of the competition and in all its branches.

The contest was held in six categories: vocal, dance, instrumental, visual and decorative and applied arts, original genre and musical production. Performances and works were judged by a jury consisting of representatives of the management of IDGC of Centre, the trade union of the company, the department of choreography of the Orel State Institute of Arts and Culture.

On the stage of the congress hall of the Orel mega-mall "Grinn" vocal and instrumental compositions sounded, theatrical performances, dance and declamatory performances were demonstrated. An exhibition of arts and crafts collected the best works of talented power engineers. Paintings in different techniques, embroidery, handmade jewelry, items made in the technique of dry felting, origami, decoupage, application, sculpture, beadwork, knitting were presented there.

 

It was not easy to decide winners: all participants showed a fairly high level of creative skills. As a result, the first degree diploma in the nomination "Vocal art" went to an electrician of operating distribution networks of class 3 of Tverenergo Sergey Rayev for the song "At Rzhev". In the category "Instrumental creativity" the winner was a specialist of category 1 of the administrative department of the administration office of Kurskenergo Alexander Vasilyev, who charmed the jury with his saxophone performance of the famous "Besame mucho". In the nomination "Original genre" nobody could be better than Alexander Pozdnyakov and Yury Piskun from Kurskenergo: they performed a rap song, which they dedicated to the native enterprise.

Head of the property office of Smolenskenergo Maxim Graschenkov became the first in the category "Fine and applied arts" - his collage in the terra technique greatly impressed the jury and honoured guests. In the category "Dance art" a solo dance brought victory to an engineer of the Southern section of the service of power lines of the high-voltage grids office of Orelenergo Evgenia Komarova. This victory for Evgenia was not the only one in the competition: with an electrician of Glazunovsky Distribution Zone Dmitry Karseko, a specialist of the IT department Alexander Khorev and a creative team of employees’ children of Orelenergo she also became the best in the category "Music production" with the vocal-dance performance "City flowers".

The competition also provided for a number of additional nominations. The Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre was recognized "The most creative team". An employee of Lipetskenergo Natalia Adamova unanimously won in the "Voice of IDGC of Centre", who performed the song "Witch Water". The most memorable in the "Original genre" was a team of Smolenskenergo for the play about the life of the composer Schumann. Andrey Borodko of Bryanskenergo with his artistry charmed the jury and contestants. A laureate in the nomination "Authorship" for the miniature of his own was Andrey Mazokhin of "Kostromaenergo".

"IDGC of Centre created all the conditions so employees of the company can realize their potential not only in trade but also in creativity. The competition of amateur art is a case in point. Here today the breadth and diversity of unique talents of power engineers are revealed, their desire for spiritual growth and improvement. Interest in the event goes far beyond the community of people one way or another involved in it: each branch refers to it as one of the most important cultural events. Popularity of the contest is increasing every year, and this gives us hope that its long and happy life is ahead," stresses Deputy General Director for HR Management and Organizational Design of IDGC of Centre Inna Gromova.
