IDGC of Centre implementing the repair program exceeding targets

IDGC of Centre summed up the implementation of the repair program for 5 months of the current year. The company performed key activities of the document with over-fulfillment of targets. Power engineers conducted comprehensive repair of 15 substations of 35-110 kV, accounting for 107% of the plan of the reporting period on an accrual basis, renovated 1,672 transformer substations of 0.4-10 kV and about 5,212 thousand km of overhead and cable lines of 0.4-110 KV (125% and 109% of the plan on an accrual basis). They cleared 5,142 hectares and expanded 592.2 hectares of ROWs of overhead lines (107% and 106% of the planned targets on an accrual basis, respectively).

In total during the year IDGC of Centre plans to carry out a comprehensive repair of 189 substations of 35-110 kV, repair 4,058 transformer substations of 0.4-10 kV and about 17,415 thousand km of overhead and cable lines of 0.4-110 kV, clear 14,403 ha and expand 1,828 ha of ROWs of overhead lines. About 1.91 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes.

Among the large and important projects, where this year a comprehensive overhaul is being performed- the substation "Gagarin" and "Monastyrschina" in the Smolensk region, "Nuclear City" in the Kursk region, "KS-20" in the Tver region. The first two power facilities are the main centres of power for industrial and residential consumers of the eastern and southern districts of the Smolensk region. Work at them will be completed later this month. The substation "Nuclear City" in Kurchatov is the main source of power supply of household and social facilities of the city of atomic scientists: kindergartens, schools, hospitals, shops, pumping stations and rest areas. Its renovation is scheduled to finish in August. The substation "KC-20", which supplies electricity to important consumers, carrying natural gas transit on the territory of the Tver region, is scheduled to be put into operation by the beginning of October.

 

The maintenance program in 2015 also provides for the repair of the key for regional power systems overhead lines in the branches of "Voronezhenergo", "Lipetskenergo" and "Tambovenergo".

Voronezh power engineers to provide the power output of Novovoronezh NPP-2 unde construction will perform a major overhaul of the overhead lines "Voronezh - Otrozhka, № 49, 50" and "Liski - Traction, № 1, 2". Both lines are the backbone, transit and feed important consumers of a part of the regional centre, as well as the southern district of ​​the region.

 

In the Lipetsk and Tambov regions the repair covers lines that are essential for the smooth functioning of social infrastructure. This is the overhead line "Ring - Left-Right" in the central part of Lipetsk and "Rasskazovskaya - Kirsanovskaya, 2nd circuit" (the central district of the Tambov region). Work has been completed on both lines.

"The implementation of the repair program of IDGC of Centre will allow to improve the quality and reliability of electricity supply of 11 subjects of the Central Federal District, and will greatly contribute to the smooth and stable operation of the power grid complex of the company in these regions during the autumn-winter peak demand," stresses Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin.
