The company held a regular meeting of the Working Group to review the initiatives and lessons learned obtained by its branches as a result of their activities to replicate in all regions of IDGC of Centre’s service area.
Participants of the meeting discussed the experience of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division on the organization of work with the executive authorities to obtain non-tariff sources of funding for the company.
The branch showed an example of successful cooperation with the authorities of the region, which will significantly reduce project costs and improve quality of services rendered. Among them one can distinguish a project for inclusion in the municipal contracts of removal of trees threatening to fall on power lines from outside to protected zones, a pilot regional project for the development of a concept of development of additional services, participation of "Yarenergo" in the regional target programs including the possibility of obtaining grants.
The use of this practice will help IDGC of Centre’s branches develop actions to improve performance indicators.
During the meeting special attention was paid to issues such as the prevention of access to the retail electricity markets of counterfeit means of measurements, the use of integrated assessment of a Distribution Zone, benchmarking as an effective management tool for production and economic activities of the Company’s branches.
The main outcome of the meeting was the decision to form "road maps" on the key issues of the meeting agenda.
