During the meeting, held under the leadership of Acting First Deputy Head of the Regional Centre Major General R.V. Nurtdinov, major results of operational duty services of functional and territorial subsystems of the Regional Emergency Management System in the Central Federal District over the past year were reported and targets were set for 2015.
Major General Nurtdinov thanked the meeting’s participants, who were officials of federal executive bodies and representatives of the Regional Centre, for the well-organized work in 2014 and stressed the importance of qualitative interagency cooperation. For the faithful execution of tasks, productive work, diligence and initiative in the framework of cooperation between the operational duty services of the Central region in 2014 Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin was awarded.
IDGC of Centre performs systematic and effective work with the territorial units of the Central Regional Emergency Centre of EMERCOM of Russia. At the moment, all branches of the company entered into an agreement on cooperation and information exchange in the field of protection of population and territories from emergency situations of natural and man-made disasters. Thus, IDGC of Centre confirmed the high readiness to inform about the threat (appearance) of failures and emergency situations of natural and man-made disasters.
A new stage of interaction of IDGC of Centre and the Central Regional Emergency Centre of EMERCOM of Russia was the conclusion on January 30, 2015 of an agreement on the procedure for interaction and exchange of information in the field of protection of population and territories from emergency situations of natural and man-made disasters. Development of joint methods of effective interaction allows in a real emergency not to waste precious minutes and as soon as possible to restore power supply to consumers.
