IDGC of Centre summed up the work of connection to electric grids for 2014. During the reporting period the company received 62,570 relevant applications (here and below the figures excluding temporary grid connection contracts). 52,027 grid connection contracts were concluded, 50,306 contracts were executed, higher than in 2013 by 1.5% and 15.8%, respectively. Total connected capacity for the performed contracts amounted to over 1,117 MW - 9.66% more than the year before. According to preliminary data, the total revenue in 2014 from the grid connection was 1,495.54 million rubles exclusive of VAT, which is 62% more than in the previous year.
The main share of requests was received from residential customers and small businesses. At the same time, the company implemented a number of major projects for grid connection. In particular, IDGC of Centre connected to its electricity grid a number of companies that are crucial for the development of the subjects of the Central Federal District, namely - Russia’s first industrial facility of the largest Japanese corporation Hitachi Ltd - an excavator plant with a total capacity of 6.3 MW in the Tver region; a new plant for production of pipes for the oil and gas industry of OJSC "Gazpromtrubinvest" in the Kostroma region.
Large amount of work was done in the area of grid connection of housing projects, as well as - of facilities of the agribusiness. So, facilities of the Group of Companies "Miratorg-Belgorod" - the largest association of agricultural enterprises in the Belgorod and Kursk regions were connected to the grid of IDGC of Centre; a plant for production of lysine of ZAO "Plant of premixes №1" in the Belgorod region, etc. The company connects facilities of the agribusiness to the grid jointly with the heads of the regions of its service area within the system work to create conditions for the development of agricultural production.
