Power engineers of IDGC of Centre are three-time winners of the Cup of the Kursk region in mini-football

The national team of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division for the third time won the Cup of the Kursk region in mini-football. Beating rivals from the team "Torch" (settlement of Ponyri), "Vanguard" (settlement of Zolotukhino), "Schigor" (Shchigry), and in the semi-finals after defeating the team of "Magnit" from the city of Zheleznogorsk with a score of 4:0, the power engineers reached the finals, where last weekend won a landslide victory over the team "Energetic" from Kurchatov.

Having missed an annoying goal in the first minutes of the game, football players of the team "Kurskenergo" managed during the first half to fight back and take the lead thanks to well-placed shots of Dmitry Belikh and Sergey Svezhentsev. In the second half they secured success, scoring five goals in the opponents' bars. The meeting result was 7:2. A worker for complex maintenance and repair of buildings of Kurskenergo Ruslan Safarov was recognized as the best player of the finals.

"Winning the match for the Cup of the Kursk region - 2014 is the result of much effort, hard training and dedication of each player," underlines the team coach of "Kurskenergo" Alexander Kotov.

And on January 10 players of the Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre in the championship of the Kursk Football League (CFL) in mini-football will meet the team "Kurskkhimvolokno". Currently the team "Kurskenergo" is among the leaders of the championship, taking for five rounds before the end the third place in the standings and just one point behind the leader - the team "Torch-Gazprom".
