A representative of IDGC of Centre won the third stage of the World Cup in weight lifting

Leading specialist of property management and consolidation of electric grid assets Office of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division Yury Lukyanchikov won the third stage of the World Cup in weight lifting, held at the St. Petersburg International Festival of kettlebell lifting. In the weight category up to 85 kilograms the Bryansk power engineer showed the highest score (72 lifts) in the discipline of "push on a long cycle".

The St. Petersburg International Festival of kettlebell lifting was held from 9 to 15 May in Pushkin (Tsarskoye Selo) and was attended by 300 athletes from 27 countries. According to the rules, one country in each weight category was represented by three athletes who showed the best results for the competitions held during the season.

Yury Lukyanchikov does not win in a competition of such a high level for the first time, Bryanskenergo’s employee is the winner of European Championships in 2008 and the Cup of Russia in 2010. In addition, he is a double medalist of the European Cup and four-time medalist of the Cup of Russia.
