Tver power engineers of IDGC of Centre are completing the work to restore electricity supply

Power engineers of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre are completing the elimination of electricity outages in the Tver region, caused by bad weather. Currently, the work is underway to restore electricity supply in some sparsely populated areas and private households. There are more than 60 crews of power engineers with special necessary vehicles in operation. Particular attention is given to rounds and inspections of power lines for damage, which may trigger off new and timely elimination of identified defects.

Forces have been redeployed and work has been enhanced in Kalyazinsky district.

The power engineers are clearing roads, the status of electricity networks is monitored, and information to the population is provided.

Currently, there are 27 crews of IDGC of Centre, 3 crews of contractors, 4 crews were organized of local residents, and 6 groups of interaction from EMERCOM.

All the crews have off-highway vehicles. 2 tracked vehicles and 4 tracked tractors are involved in the first responding and restoration operations. 14 power backup supply sources are used.
