IDGC of Centre has completed a comprehensive overhaul of one of the major power supply centers of the north-west of the Tambov region — the substation 110/10 kV «Ilovaiskaya». The work was performed in the framework of the repair program in 2013 by the local branch of the company, Tambovenergo.
During the implementation of this ambitious project, specialists of Tambovenergo replaced some parts of the substation technically obsolete equipment of 110 kV and 10 kV for modern high-performance counterparts. To ensure a high level of safety in the operation of the electrical plant the installation of electromagnetic locks with replacement of drives of disconnectors was performed.
«„Ilovaiskaya“ is one of the four substations, upgraded in preparation for the autumn -winter operation period,» underlines Deputy Director for Technical Issues — Chief Engineer of Tambovenergo Igor Polyakov. «The completion of the comprehensive overhaul will improve the reliability of power supply of enterprises and social facilities in the region, will provide additional possibilities for the construction of new and modernization of existing industrial, housing and civil facilities.»
