IDGC of Centre summed up the implementation of customer grid connections for nine months of 2013.
During the reporting period 49,874 applications to connect to the network of a total capacity of 2,614 MW were submitted, which is 14% higher than the same period in 2012. 29,454 applicants were connected — 23% higher than a year earlier. The total capacity of the connections was about 660 MW, which is 33.5% more than last year.
According to estimates of the Grid Connection Department of IDGC of Centre, the positive trend of improved performance of the company in terms of grid connection will continue by the end of 2013 as well. The company notes that this was achieved largely thanks to the optimization of the given procedure. IDGC of Centre made the contractual structure of the service «Support of grid connection» easier for customers, and reduced time of its provision. And in the foreseeable future it will be even easier and more convenient for customers of IDGC of Centre to apply for grid connection and track its execution. They will be able to do this remotely — related services will be provided on the company’s website under the section «My Account».
