IDGC of Centre held a guidelines and procedures meeting for heads of public relations departments of all 11 branches of the company, which focused on improving informational work for the autumn-winter period. The meeting was also attended by leaders and experts in areas of the executive office of IDGC of Centre, Department of Information Policy and Communications of IDGC Holding, and JSC “Energy Service Company”.
It focused on the importance and relevance of the information support for the large-scale process of preparation and operation through the autumn-winter period. The work of Public Relations Departments is to quickly and fully inform all social strata of residents in the regions of the company’s activities, especially in the period of possible mass technological failures. Several lectures and discussions of the meeting’s participants focused on the following topics: immediate delivery of information to consumers on their actions in emergency situations, communication with authorities and EMERCOM for the convenience of customers, new methods and tools for warning and others.
An exchange of views and ideas was important to further improve the program for the prevention of injuries to third parties, including children, at electric grid facilities.
Representatives of the technical structural unit of IDGC of Centre presented their vision on effective interaction of PR-divisions and future development departments in the company’s branches, aimed at improving the investment attractiveness of the areas where grid assets are located, as well as the promotion of these areas to provide grid connection.
The meeting’s participants in the form of a round table analyzed the state of the communication environment around the activities of IDGC of Centre, discussed the issues to maintain positive image and effective communication with all target groups.
