Experts of IDGC of Centre have finished creating an interactive map of the Company’s electric grid. The aim of this project - visualization of power reserves in the 35-110 kV power supply centers of the Company displayed on the topographic plan.
The implementation of this project allowed to receive the most detailed information on the reserved capacity and contact data from the interactive map. Using the interactive map you can find the name of the facility’s supply center, voltage class, the installed capacity, current and prospective shortage/surplus of power facilities. In total the map has 2329 35-110 kV substations with a total capacity of 31,403.9 MVA of all 11 branches of IDGC of Centre, located in the Central Region of the Russian Federation.
The interactive map format is convenient for consumers who want to implement the grid connection of their facility to electric networks of the Company in a particular region of the service area of IDGC of Centre. Using the interactive map it will be convenient for Russian and foreign investors to obtain complete information on the availability of reserved capacity in a specific area of 11 regions in which the Company operates, as well as to predict the change in the situation after the investment program implementation.
The map of the electric grid is a good tool of interaction of power engineers with businesses and regional authorities, to raise the investment attractiveness of the Company and provide full information about the current state and development of the power supply network in the regions where IDGC of Centre operates
