Power engineers of IDGC of Centre provide a reliable power supply of the All-Russian Forum of Rural Intellectuals

On 15 November, in Graivoron (Belgorod region) was opened the All-Russian Forum of Rural Intellectuals. It was attended by more than 500 delegates, among whom were Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Russian Agriculture Minister Elena Skrynnik, Minister of Health and Social Development Tatyana Golikova, Minister of Regional Development Viktor Basargin, Minister of Education and Science Andrey Fursenko and representatives of federal executive bodies.

To ensure reliable power supply of high quality of this important event specialists of IDGC of Centre had assembled a system of backup power at the transformer station No.29 of the 110 kV “Graivoron” substation, which supplies electricity to the All-Russian Forum. They had also conducted an additional ROW clearing along the 10 kV conductors of the substation and installed a 90 kW diesel generator. In addition, power engineers had provided a helicopter pad with lighting, which had been built especially for distinguished guests; checked street lighting and installed extra street lamps in the city.

An additional duty of crews was also organized to respond rapidly in case of unforeseen situations.
