Power engineers of IDGC of Centre are eliminating consequences of hurricane

Operational and repair teams of IDGC of Centre equipped with all necessary special machinery and devices started immediately elimination of power disturbances. First of all power supply of socially significant facilities was restored. Currently the works are being carried on at all damaged overhead transmission lines.

2 OTL-110 kv, 2 OTL-35 kv, 160 TS remain still disconnected. 28 teams, 37 units of special machinery are working at power restoration.

As of 8.00 a.m. of June 28, 2010 2 OTL-110 kv, 24 OTL-35 kv remain still disconnected, 17 SS-35 kv are cut off. 81 teams are working at, 40 units of special machinery are involved in power restoration. Power engineers will be performing repair works up to complete restoration of normal operation of the power complex of the regions.

Emergency response center governed by Sergey Shumakher, Deputy General Director for Technical Policy of the Company, is established and enhanced control over the course of elimination of consequences of technological disturbances is put in IDGC of Centre. Dispatching services monitor hourly restoration of facilities. Notwithstanding elimination of consequences of the hurricane, the power grid complex of IDGC of Centre is working in normal operation mode.
