To increase the reliability of power complex in regions where IDGC of Centre, JSC operates the Company implements programs intended to power efficiency and power saving. Representatives of the Company had a look at presented at the exhibition new power- and resource-saving pilot projects, innovation technologies, equipment and materials, component parts, measuring means, equipment for control of environment, technologies for utilization and reclamation of industrial and household waste, up-to-date software, normative and technical documentation.
Key event of the exhibition was workshop “Power saving and efficient use of resources: innovations, legislation, perspectives”. Its participants discussed main directions in the field of power saving in Yaroslavl region, perspectives of development of power industry of the region, wholesale and retail markets of electric power, as well as were acquainted with requirements of the Federal Law in the field of power saving.
“Up-to-date power saving technologies should be implemented as in industry so as in everyday life. This will allow not only to save finance but also to release capacities for connection of new consumers to power grids without additional construction of new power facilities. The exhibition is a good opportunity to make useful contacts, to choose suppliers of innovational equipment and to form view of the power industry of future”, — Evgeny Turapin, the Deputy Director for Technical Issues — Chief Engineer of the branch “Yarenergo” of IDGC of Centre, JSC, emphasized.
