Council of veterans of IDGC of Centre, JSC improves the dialog of generations

The approved methodic recommendations contain forms and work methods of veteran organisations, list of the planned social actions and measures common for all branches of the Company. In new year veterans of IDGC of Centre will improve joint work with youth councils of a branch, trade union committees, territorial veteran structures of regions. It was decided that Councils of veterans would provide feasible assistance in development of production activities of the Company. This work is planned to be implemented by means of development of mentoring, accounting of recommendations on formation of investment programs, veterans’ active participation in safety rules days, extraordinary and planned check ups, production conciliums, views-contests of professional skills, solemn delivery of production facilities. To ensure labor safety it is planned to consider an opportunity of veterans’ participation as public attorneys for labor protection. 

The Company conducts the work on creation of the unified database of pensioners-power engineers, forms lists of single persons, disabled veterans who need care and support. It has been planned to work out the veteran guardianship program, render assistance in sanatorium and resort treatment and health improvement of veterans, legal informing and formation of address support program. It is planned to establish thematic commissions that will supervise issues of history and culture and leisure work in the structure of the Council of veterans. Veterans will take part in development of museums, creation of books of condolence, holding of historical conferences. There will be organized societies of hunters, fishermen, nature enthusiasts, visiting of exhibitions, expositions, museums, theaters, creative and applied contests. Specialists of branches among employees of the Company social relations divisions will be appointed for permanent communicative contacts with representatives of the Council of veterans.

Viktor Ablyozgov, Adviser General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC, Deputy Chairman of the Council of veterans of the Company, noted: “The detailed work plan of the Council of veterans for the year has been developed in the Company, a consolidated veteran budget is in the process of formation. Our primary objectives are improvement of veteran movement, transparent dialog of generations. All developed measures are directed to that no veteran of our Company is neglected and left unsupported”.
 
At the end of the meeting Vladimir Skrynnikov, Chairman of the Council of veterans of IDGC of Centre, JSC, thanked participants for vivid conversation that allowed to reveal a number of issues requiring prompt solution and expressed hope for the further fruitful work.
