Evgeny Makarov, Chairman of the Management Board – General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC, notes that as a whole all intended tasks had been fulfilled. Irrespective of the economic crisis, the investment program on the introduced capacity was overfulfilled more than by 50 percent. The Unified operating company of Centre spent more than 6,5 bln RUR for implementation of investment projects, 1,3 bln RUR – for conducting of repair campaign.
In 2010 the primary directions are still securing of reliable and qualitative power supply of 15 mln people living in the regions where the Company operates, increasing of technological connection rates, development of supplementary services and client direction, optimization of expenses, implementation of environmental and technical policies. Priority is put on projects related to implementation of automated metering and information systems for electric power commercial (technical) accounting and telemechanization, transfer of all branches to regulation of tariff for transmission services by the return on invested capital method (RAB), programs on injury rate risk reduction, power efficiency increasing, implementation of “smart cities” technologies.
The Company Management Board estimated positively the work and results of activities of the branches under severe external conditions of 2009. Evgeny Makarov emphasized that economy stabilization and new tariff regulation system provided the opportunity to increase activity efficiency, develop and improve quality of rendered services. Directors of the branches defined ways of qualitative activity improvement in regions and accepted obligations relating to increasing of performance indicators in 2010.
