Successful repair campaign held annually since April till October contributes to fault-free operation during autumn-winter period. Planning repair works in 2009 power engineers of IDGC of Centre made special focus on formation of maximum full base of information on configuration and technical state of the Company power equipment. For this purpose technical audit was carried out and equipment record using platform SAP/R3 was performed. In total about 10 million units of equipment were entered into database. Besides, for IDGC of Centre as a whole and individually for each branch using ERP-system assets control system was created and accidence accounting system allowing to control electric power outages in on-line mode was implemented.
Teams of higher mobility provided with necessary mechanical means, special equipment and correspondent motor transport and which are ready to move to any region of IDGC of Centre in case of emergency as soon as possible were formed in all production departments for operative elimination of emergency situations.
Performed capital repair of 192 substations of 35—110 kv voltage, repair of 6,7 thousand kilometers of power transmission lines of 35—110 kv, 24,8 thousand kilometers of power networks of 0,4—10 kv and more than 8 thousand of distribution and transformer substations of 6—10/0,4 kv contributed to reliability of work of grid complex and of power supply of consumers of the Centre of Russia. Power engineers of IDGC of Centre spent 157.6 million rubles for repair of power transmission lines of 35—110 kv, about 220 million rubles for repair of equipment of substations of 35—110 kv, and 632,4 million rubles for repair of power networks of 0,4—20 kv.
Sergey Shumakher, Deputy General Director for Technical Policy of IDGC of Centre remarked: “Implementation of repair plan remained for us one of the principal directions of activity at preparation to operation during autumn-winter peak load of 2009—2010. And although, financial and economic crisis influenced on results of our production activity, we carried out the whole necessary complex of works on preparation to winter”.
Last year specialists of the Company realized program on clearing of power transmission lines routs from coppice in full. About 11 thousand ha were cleared in 11 branches as a result number of cases of outages of overhead lines of 0,4—110 kv because of fall of branches of trees on wires reduced significantly. IDGC of Centre spent 126.5 million rubles for these purposes.
Special attention was paid to improving safety of works performed by power engineers. In all branches of the Company special measures on labour protection including additional training, briefing for personnel as to cold weather operation in emergency situations are carried out, providing of teams with inventory, overall, protection means, as well as existence of emergency reserve of equipment and materials are checked out.
