Power engineers of the branch “Rosseti Centre Lipetskenergo” continue to work on the modernization of street lighting systems in the region. It is being conducted jointly with municipalities within the framework of the state program of the Lipetsk region “Energy efficiency and energy development of the Lipetsk region” and a regional strategy for the comprehensive modernization of lighting networks designed to reduce electricity consumption, improve the illumination of settlements, and most importantly - make the life of Lipetsk residents more comfortable and safe.
In November of this year, the power engineers will perform object replacement and installation of 348 modern energy-efficient LED lighting fixtures in 6 municipalities of the Dankovsky, Dobrinsky, Izmalkovsky, Stanovlyansky, Terbunsky and Khlevensky districts. For remote control of outdoor lighting, 22 remote control cabinets will be put into operation and more than 14 km of self-supporting insulated wire (SIW) will be installed, which has increased safety and energy efficiency. The largest scope of work will be carried out on the territory of the Bereznegovatsky village council of the Dobrinsky district, where more than one and a half thousand people live.
In total, since the beginning of 2020, Lipetskenergo’s power engineers have replaced and installed 858 street lighting fixtures in 42 rural settlements of the Dankovsky, Dobrinsky, Yeletsky, Izmalkovsky, Krasninsky, Lebedyansky, Lev-Tolstovsky, Terbunsky and Khlevensky districts of the Lipetsk region.
