Power engineers of Kostromaenergo control the quality of supplied electricity

10.08.2020

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” pays special attention to the issues of compliance of the quality of electricity transmitted to consumers with the requirements of GOST. Within the framework of this direction, employees of Kostromaenergo monitor power quality indicators.

For the first half of 2020, the Kostroma power engineers carried out 566 measurements of the quality indicators of electrical energy at power facilities of the branch, including 24 measurements based on received requests from consumers.

The implementation of technical measures aimed at ensuring the quality of electricity is under special control of the branch. These include: separation of 0.4 kV overhead lines, voltage regulation at 6-10/0.4 kV transformer substations, phase distribution of loads, laying a full-phase grid, and others.

In the first half of 2020, 20 such events were developed and successfully implemented in Kostromaenergo. The work carried out improved the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers in the Kostroma region, which was confirmed by appropriate measurements.

“In the process of identifying existing and potential problems with the quality of electricity, the timeliness of their solution is extremely important, since this affects the quality of life of the consumers themselves, the reliable operation of household and industrial power installations,” stressed the head of the metrology and power quality department - chief metrologist of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” Artem Kireev.
