Employees of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tambovenergo” carried out work on grid connection of a grain drying plant in the Muchkapsky district of the Tambov region. The total capacity of the power installations was 150 kW.
“The agro-industrial complex is the basic branch of the economy of the Tambov region. Therefore, we pay the most serious attention to the issues of power supply of its enterprises. By ensuring the timely and complete delivery of capacity to agricultural facilities, we contribute to the socio-economic development of the region,” stressed Nikolay Bogomolov, Deputy General Director - Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tambovenergo”.
It should be noted that proper drying of grain is one of the main processes of preparation for storage and further sale. The process of bringing grain crops to the optimum moisture level can significantly increase the shelf life of the crop, preventing the appearance of centres of self-heating and grain spoilage. In addition, in the process of reducing the moisture content of the grain, its ripening occurs and a significant improvement in its basic qualities and, accordingly, its value.
