Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” have provided reserve capacity for a health care facility in the settlement of Burashevo of the Tver region. The regional Ministry of Energy asked the Tver branch of Rosseti Centre to equip the medical institution with an additional source of electricity.
Currently, on the basis of the regional neuropsychiatric dispensary in the settlement of Burashevo, infectious diseases departments have been deployed to accommodate patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 infection, which requires additional energy load.
The specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” immediately responded to the request of the regional department and installed on the territory of the dispensary a backup power supply source with a capacity of 100 kW with an emergency reserve switch in case of voltage drops or power outages.
The power engineers worked out a clear and quick interaction with representatives of the medical institution responsible for the electrical system, conducted joint checks of the power supply circuits.
The task of maintaining the supply of electricity to key infrastructure facilities in the regions, and in particular, to medical institutions in the current unfavourable epidemiological situation under special control, was set by Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti.
“The installation of additional capacity will allow the employees of the medical institution to provide high-quality care to patients even in the event of emergency situations and technological disturbances in the operation of the hospital equipment,” notes Alexander Pilyugin, First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region. “In the context of the ongoing fight against the pandemic, the power engineers of “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” are ready for an immediate response and fulfillment of tasks to ensure reliable power supply to consumers in the Upper Volga Region”.
