Belgorodenergo provided 500 kW of additional power to the “Advanced Farma” plant

14.07.2020

“Rosseti Centre Belgorodenergo” provided additional capacity of 500 kW to new production lines of the Belgorod plant “Advanced Farma”, specializing in production of drugs for treatment of tuberculosis, HIV, and hepatitis.

To ensure the consumer’s electrical installations with the required capacity, the branch constructed a package transformer substation of 6-0.4 kV, installed a 6 kV bay and laid about 240 metres of 6-0.4 kV cable lines. The main facilities of consumption will be laboratory equipment, ventilation and air conditioning systems, air and water purification, specialized machines and mechanisms.

Power supply for pharmaceutical production is provided from the 110/6/6 kV substation “Vitamin Plant”, which provides energy to a number of industrial enterprises and residential districts of individual housing construction in the eastern part of the regional centre.

The drug production project has been implemented in the Belgorod region since 2015. In 2018, the first phase of the enterprise was launched in the territory of the “Severny” industrial park. Power engineers completed grid connection of the plant of 1,000 kW from the existing grid infrastructure of the industrial park. This year, new production lines were launched on Rabochaya Street in Belgorod, after which the total power consumption of two pharmaceutical production sites increased to 1,500 kW.
