Kostromaenergo’s power engineers honoured the memory of heroes

Traditionally, on 22 June, the management of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” took part in a rally at the Eternal Flame. This year, due to the difficult epidemiological situation, a minimum number of managers gathered at it, observing the social distance, as well as using personal protective equipment. The power engineers honoured the memory of the fallen soldiers with a moment of silence and laid flowers at the memorial.

And in the early morning of the same day, volunteers of the “League of Good” association of the Kostroma branch of Rosseti Centre became participants in the All-Russian patriotic action “Candle of Remembrance”. Together with the energy volunteers, representatives of youth, patriotic and search clubs, children’s and youth public organizations of Kostroma joined the action. At 4 o’clock in the morning they lit candles of memory, expressing their solidarity and respect for those who died on battlefields during the Great Patriotic War. From the lit lamps, the action participants posted the inscription “remember”.

“We could not stay away from such an important action of memory. We pay tribute to the deepest respect for the soldiers who defended for us a free country at an incredible price, all who died for their homeland. Our branch pays great attention to energy veterans who fought in the Great Patriotic War, rear workers. The current generation will be forever grateful to them for their sacred feat,” stressed Natalia Vdovenko, a volunteer of the “League of Good” association of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo”.
