Specialists of Rosseti Centre provided electricity to a new large agricultural complex in the Voronezh region

15.06.2020

Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo” provided electric power to a new pig-breeding complex “Krasnopolsky” of the AGROEKO Group of Companies in the Vorobyevsky district of the Voronezh region.

The complex was built as part of an agreement between the agricultural holding, the government of the Voronezh region and the district administration. It is designed for one-time maintenance of 35 thousand pigs. The production capacity of the enterprise is 7.6 thousand tons of meat per year. Investments in the construction amounted to 1 billion 137 thousand rubles.

For the grid connection of the new agro-industrial facility, Voronezhenergo’s specialists constructed 800 metres of a 10 kV power line and equipped it with intelligent communication equipment. With the help of a circuit breaker - recloser - you can remotely disconnect a faulty section of the line for restoration work and transfer the consumer to backup power lines. The use of digital technologies allows minimizing the restoration time of power supply, which is of fundamental importance for enterprises of a continuous production cycle. As a result of the work carried out, the enterprise was provided with the connection of electrical installations with a capacity of 430 kW.

The grid connection of the “Krasnopolsky” pig-breeding complex is not the only example of the assistance of Rosseti Centre to the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Voronezh region. Since the beginning of the year, specialists from the Voronezh branch of the company have provided reliable power supply to about 10 agricultural facilities in the region - farms, grain drying complexes, fruit storage facilities, etc. Their total connected capacity exceeded 1.5 MW.

“Qualitatively fulfilling its obligations on grid connection of agricultural enterprises, Voronezhenergo contributes to solving the problems of sustainable development and increasing the investment attractiveness of the region. New agro-industrial facilities are investment projects, thanks to which the districts will receive further socio-economic development, and their residents will get new jobs,” stressed Vyacheslav Antonov, Deputy General Director - Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo”.
