05.06.2020

Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, received a letter from General Director of the Kursk Regional Museum of Local Lore Irina Lotashova expressing gratitude for the contribution of specialists of the Kurskenergo branch to the improvement and lighting of the Partisan Glory Museum “Big Oak”.

“The work of power engineers is beyond praise. This museum is visited annually by thousands of people. And without such a remarkable contribution of your organization to the development of the “Big Oak” complex, this memorable place would not have been so attractive for a long time. It is gratifying to see that today there are enterprises and leaders who do a lot to preserve the memory of the immortal feat of the people during the Great Patriotic War. Thank you for your help in our common cause. I wish you and your company success and prosperity, and all power engineers - health and well-being,” the letter says.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory, Kurskenergo’s specialists installed 26 park lamps, 6 architectural lighting lamps and 22 floodlights on the premises of the Partisan Glory Museum “Big Oak” in the Zheleznogorsky district, the monuments to the Heroes Tankers and Heroes Artillerymen in the Ponyrovsky district. The branch’s employees also restored the lighting of the “Angel of Peace” at the worshipful submission height in the Fatezhsky district.

Thus, the power engineers pay tribute and memory to all those who fought for the freedom of the Fatherland and keep the history of military feats for the future.
