Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo” provided reliable power supply to City Clinical Hospital No. 20 in the city of Voronezh. At the moment, it is redesigned to receive patients infected with COVID-19.
As soon as possible, Voronezhenergo’s employees prepared a backup power source with a capacity of 100 kW for operation, and sent it to JSC “Voronezh City Electric Grids” (which has been part of the functional responsibility of the Rosseti Centre company since November 2019), in whose service area the hospital is located. In turn, specialists of JSC “Voronezh City Electric Grids” quickly installed the generator at City Clinical Hospital No. 20 and connected it to the power supply grid of the medical institution.
The importance of special control over the supply of electricity to medical institutions in the prevailing unfavourable epidemiological situation was indicated by Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti’s Group of Companies. All structural subdivisions of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region strictly comply with the instructions of the head of the group of companies.
In the current unfavourable epidemiological situation, power engineers of Rosseti Centre tightened control over the power supply of socially significant facilities located in the Voronezh region, including more than 800 different medical institutions in the region. At the moment, in addition to City Clinical Hospital No. 20, the power engineers of Rosseti Centre have installed backup generators in 4 more medical institutions of the Voronezh region: City Hospital No. 5, Regional Clinical Hospital No. 2, Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1 in the city of Voronezh, and the Ostrogozhsky Regional Hospital in the city of Ostrogozhsk.
“If necessary, backup power sources can also be installed in other healthcare institutions in the region,” stressed Vyacheslav Antonov, Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo”.
