This year, about 300 Kurskenergo’s employees underwent professional training, most of them remotely

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” has summed up the results of personnel training since the beginning of 2020. In the course of 5 months, 289 employees of the branch received new knowledge and skills within the framework of various forms of training, of which 185 (64%), taking into account the complicated epidemiological situation, received it in a remote format. More than a million rubles were allocated for these purposes. Most half of the learners are representatives of manufacturing specialties.

126 managers and specialists of the Kurskenergo branch underwent training in the remote format on labour protection, safe methods and techniques for performing work at heights, industrial safety requirements for lifting equipment and equipment operating under pressure at the Training and Methodological Office of Rostekhnadzor (Moscow).

The personnel of the substation service of the Kurskenergo branch received new knowledge on modern methods of operating oil-filled equipment online at the Saint-Petersburg Energy Institute for Advanced Studies.

56 power engineers for the first time underwent full-fledged distance learning under the program “Digital Transformation of the Electric Grid Complex” at the “Energetik” Training Centre (Kirov).

“We are promptly responding to a changing environment, making the necessary amendments to our plans, especially if such changes are related to the health of the staff, and provided our employees with the opportunity to gain new knowledge and develop professionally even in the current conditions, with the necessary safety measures,” emphasized First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of Kurskenergo Vyacheslav Istomin.

In total, more than a thousand Kurskenergo’s employees will undergo vocational training and upgrade their qualifications by the end of the year. For these purposes, the branch will spend about 2.5 million rubles.
