A letter of thanks from the head of the Ostrovsky municipal district, Galina Polyakova, was received by Dmitry Prokhorov, Deputy General Director - Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo”. The administration’s leadership expresses gratitude to the power engineers for their assistance in the large-scale reconstruction of the obelisk in the settlement of Krasnaya Polyana, the installation of additional lighting near the monument to the Unknown Soldier in the settlement of Ostrovskoye, participation in landscaping and painting the obelisk for collective farmers who died in a fire in the settlement of Ostrovskoye on Kineshamskaya Street.
The head of the Ostrovsky municipal district expressed separate words of gratitude to the employees of the Ostrovsky Distribution Zone, who annually carry out a set of works on landscaping monuments and war memorials.
“We hope for further cooperation and your active participation in maintaining a tribute to those who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and defended their homeland,” the letter of thanks says.
Another 5 specialists of the Ostrovsky Distribution Zone were awarded letters of thanks from the head of the Ostrovsky rural settlement of the Ostrovsky district Natalya Kravchuk for their help in repairing the obelisk to soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War in the settlement of Krasnaya Polyana.
It should be noted that the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” has been patronizing monuments and memorials in all districts of the Kostroma region for many years, regularly helping upgrade and improve them, preserving them for future generations. This is a tribute of the Kostroma power engineers to all those who gave their lives for the sake of peace on earth, as well as those who stood at the origins of the Kostroma energy system.
