Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” provided back-up capacities to 2 healthcare facilities in the cities of Konakovo and Nelidovo in the Tver region.
A request was made to equip two medical facilities with additional sources of electric power to the Tver branch of Rosseti Centre by the regional Ministry of Health.
Currently, in the cardiovascular centre on the basis of the Nelidovo central district hospital and in the Konakovo central district hospital, infection departments have been deployed to accommodate patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 infection, which requires additional energy load. The specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” immediately responded to the request of the regional department and installed two reserve power sources with a capacity of 100 kW and 30 kW in the territory of the Konakovo hospital and a reserve power source with a capacity of 100 kW for the cardiovascular centre in Nelidovo.
The power engineers worked out a clear and quick interaction with representatives of the medical institutions responsible for the electrical sector, and conducted joint inspections of energy supply circuits.
The task of keeping the supply of electricity to key infrastructure facilities in the regions, and, in particular, to medical institutions in the current unfavourable epidemiological situation under special control, was set by Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti.
“In this situation, the coordinated work of the Government of the Tver Region and Rosseti Centre is especially important and necessary, therefore, we promptly responded to the request of the regional leadership to provide additional capacities to the most important healthcare institutions,” stresses First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Alexander Pilyugin. “In the context of the fight against the pandemic, the power engineers of “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” are ready to respond immediately and to fulfill the tasks of providing reliable power supply to consumers of the Upper Volga Region.”
