Specialists of the Ostrovsky Distribution Zone of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” were among the first to initiate a remote classroom for children from the Ostrovsky high school. The event was attended by over 100 children of different ages. First, the schoolchildren studied memos on the rules for the safe handling of electricity, which were posted on Rosseti Centre’s website, as well as on regional social networks. Thanks to them, the children learned about the main causes of tragic incidents - ignorance of the simple rules of electrical safety.
Then the experts tested the schoolchildren, asking them questions on this topic. All of them showed good knowledge. Each child received a certificate of participation in a distance lesson. All certificates were transferred to the school.
Please, be reminded that the decision to organize distance learning for schoolchildren in safety issues was made during a round table on prevention of third-party injuries at facilities of the electric grid complex, which was held in March this year at the Kostromaenergo branch. The participants discussed issues of expanding cooperation in the field of children’s safety. In particular, it was decided to consolidate video, audio, and presentation materials from various departments in order to use it in educational institutions of the city of Kostroma and the Kostroma region during distance learning on-line. Such an initiative at the round table was made by Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science of the region - Head of the section of preschool, general and additional education Olga Khasanova.
